Job Description

  • Work in a truly global environment with colleagues based in Sweden, Greece, Canada, India, and Singapore.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns, GST returns, payments, transfer pricing calculations, necessary paperwork, and reports.
  • Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s tax database.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
  • Offer support and guidance during audits.
  • Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
  • Research new & existing legislation and industry trends as well as automation within Tax technology area
  • Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Masters’ degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience as a tax accountant or similar role.
  • Good understanding of MS Office and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in verbal and written English
  • Knowledge of Income tax, GST and Companies Act, 2013
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes.
  • Ethical behavior and attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment, as part of a multinational team
  • Ability to prioritize well, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement attitude
