Position Summary

DX.IO is Centralized engineering portal providing seamless access to high quality curated technical content for different phases of Software Development Lifecycle. This comprehensive portal will provide ratified design patterns, tech stacks, best practices, paths to building Cloud, Mobile, Web, and Data applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementation of a variety of schedule-critical, development and production programs

• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Software Engineering and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plan

• Actively Participate in full software development lifecycle including planning, defining systems work scope, designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting infrastructure

• Work on multiple project tasks and deliverables

• Contribute in defining development guidelines and standards for optimal solutions

• Contribute to enhancing the team’s best practices that increase quality, accuracy, and speed.

• Coordinate with different API Content team and get timely solution for customer issues.

• Troubleshoot and reproduce issues logged by the API consumers and identify the root cause. Connect & co-ordinate with the respective API teams for more insights

• Actively participate in product development by providing insights on future features through customer feedback/bugs/requests analysis.

• Strive to maintain established SLA’s for efficient communication with the end users

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT industry with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronic or equivalent degree

• 8+ years of programming experience using Java/J2EE, Micro Services, Spring, Spring Boot, RDBMS, REST API, Web Services & Messaging Queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)

• Experience in SQL development (complex queries, stored procedures, and user defined functions) and performance tuning is required. Azure SQL is a plus

• Experience in Python programming

• Experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes

• Java performance tuning, memory management, debug heap dumps to identify memory leaks

• Strong data structure and algorithm development experience

• Experience in front-end languages like HTML, Markdown, CSS and JavaScript.

• Experience in JUnit Testing and Test-driven development

• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and code management tools like – GitHub, CI/CD tools like Jenkins

• Experience with cloud infrastructure preferably Azure, GCP

• Experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model.

• Demonstrable ability to deliver projects on time, with high quality and able to effectively communicate across teams and roles

• Experience working in fast paced internet/e-commerce companies

Good to have

• Experience in eCommerce Software development

• Experience in React JS, Angular JS, Node JS and knowledge of JavaScript with ES6, CSS, and HTML5

Experience with NoSQL DB’s like Mongo, Cassandra etc
