An overview of the position

The Senior Manager for APAC Business Operations has the responsibility of leading initiatives to support functional teams in the region. This is a critical role as mthree builds upon its existing APAC presence and manages the complexities of integrating existing operations into the mthree business model and the wider Wiley organisation. Accordingly, the main purpose of the role is to enable change and ensure consistency and efficiency of business processes.

Today, mthree operates in India, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore with China coming online in early 2022. Further expansion is possible as mthree seeks to establish its position as the leading Hire-Train-Deploy business that is able to service clients globally. Driving operational excellence across the region, the role reports to the Senior Director for Business Operations. Other key stakeholders include the SLT, functional heads and project leads. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, all of which demand a structured, process driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement and scalability. Initially a standalone role, it is expected that it will eventually manage a small team of Business Operations colleagues across the region.

How you will make an impact:

  • Takes lead role in enabling change to align mthree India with global standards and processes
  • Act in Project Manager/BA or Product Manager capacity as required by the deliverable
  • Identify and define opportunities for operational efficiencies / process improvements and own the project to deliver change
  • Responsible for process mapping and documentation
  • Optimize systems and identify opportunities for automations
  • Gatekeeper for operational governance. Applies measurement of KPIs to assess internal compliance and identify weak points
  • Work with colleagues from Wiley group to leverage existing resources, artefacts and expertise
  • Drive best practice adoption across all functions
  • Support the growth of mthree and its clients by ensuring Operations deliver ‘best-in-class’ processes and systems
  • Lead internal review of client account performance against both commercial & operational KPI’s

We are looking for people

  • Experience of Project Management/Business and/or Systems Analysis/Product Management in Workforce/Staffing or Learning Organization
  • Strong excel, CRM’s, Project Management Tools
  • Extremely self-motivated, highly analytical, process driven, organized, excellent communicator, critical thinking skills and professional manner
  • Ability to work across complex organizational structures and manage processes
