SAP PM Master Data Specialist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Accountable for providing functional expertise in plant maintenance, inventory management and bill of materials. Validate current asset or equipment master data, asset register information and propose changes based on maintenance practices and as per site requirement or working conditions. Prepare and publish summary reports for identified changes and recommendations. This role involves study of P&ID’s, layouts, mechanical and GA drawings to understand the process flow and identify maintainable assets/components to buildup appropriate maintenance strategy.

Must Have Knowledge and Skills:

• Experienced in Operations & Maintenance of process equipment in mining industry/ beneficiation plant.
• Well aware of Business Process - Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance etc.
• Experienced in creation/review of asset registers and hierarchy structure comprising of maintainable units and components, assets broken down far enough to ensure maintenance effectiveness, accurate cost breakdowns for reporting/data analysis alongwith consistency and alignment with business asset structure standard.
• Management of asset data & criticality index (Location/Equipment/Assembly)
• Ability to comprehend OEM manuals, Service sheets & engineering drawings to evaluate existing maintenance practices or create new.
• Experienced in creation and modification of Asset maintenance integrity Data (CMMS) and master data and spare part information data
• Involved in maintenance in-line with requirements from production department, Inventory monitoring, spares planning, Safety monitoring and Housekeeping.
• Experienced in SAP PM - end user level.
• Basic knowledge of MS office tools – PowerPoint & Excel.
• Effective communicator and should have the ability to lead client discussions and take decisions.

Work Experience: 3 to 7 years of experience in operations and maintenance of plant machinery.
