Production Manager @ Hosur
Industry: Automotive manufacturing Agriculture related Tractors & Machinery.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Overall Responsible for Production activities, Testing and PPC.
- To ensure Defect Free outgoing product from Assembly Line after proper testing.
- Co-ordination with Tractor final assembly, PPC, Materials, Quality Assurance and Maintenance Departments to achieve daily Organisational Goals.
- To ensure smooth flow of Production at Assembly Line by Manpower planning.
- Look after Capacity Planning and Productivity Improvement at Assembly Line.
- Planning for Production of New Models on existing Assembly Line and Inventory control.
- Knowledge of Poka Yoke, 5s, Zero defect, PPAP, TPM, TQM and Capex Planning for Assembly Line.
- Material planning and co-ordination with SCM Department.
- To ensure proper Inspection of Incoming Material, Process Quality of product and Improvements at the Vendor end to ensure defect free Incoming Material.
- Analysis of Rejection & Defects and find root cause for corrective and preventive actions.
