Principal Program Manager - CloudEngineering

Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Technical Program Manager (TPM) position within our Cloud Engineering team in India. The Program Manager would manage the progress of customer projects, multiple strategic initiatives, assist with data driven decision making process, and drive innovation.

This is an exciting opportunity with a great deal of visibility, responsibility and influence.

Responsibilities

Internal Strategic Initiatives:
Driving cross-organizational programs

Defining and developing new programs, playbooks and tools for continued customer insights

Partner with the program sponsor and stakeholders to define and operationalize the program KPIs and running rhythm business

Publishing, reporting data and insights to key stakeholders to drive business growth

Facilitate coordination meetings with technology leaders to solicit inputs and guidance for program implementation and elaboration over time; maintain minutes and tenaciously follow up on action items

Work across multiple virtual teams with differing timelines and objectives. ·

Manage stakeholder expectations across the organization

Customer Projects

Define milestones, success criteria, manage dependencies and deliver iteratively

Monitor project from initiation through delivery

Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate project status, issues and risks to stakeholders·

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of technical/business skills

Core Competencies:
10+ years of overall experience with strong program management and leadership experience in driving complex product releases and programs

Ability to lead cross-functional program meetings and communicate effectively and appropriately with the various audiences involved

Mature communication skills: able to deliver concise and effective messaging to a senior leadership audience

Tenacious follow-up and ability to drive results across the full scope of the program

Strong capability in stakeholder management, especially working with senior management and executive levels

Strong schedule awareness – able to recognize risks to program priorities and understand the interplay of project work on program schedules and outcomes

Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through internal and external organizations and individuals

Possess a track record of driving results to support the successful execution of programs in a dynamic environment and experience leading or participating in process engineering and team building efforts

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Empathy, judgment, negotiation/influence and analytical skills

Pluses:
Confluence-Jira integration and report creation experience

PMP or other Project Management industry certification

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
