Position : Test Automation Engineer
Experience : 4 to 7 Years
Position Summary:

Looking for Test Automation Engineer with proven skills in both Functional and Automation Testing. The successful candidate must be excited about quality and able to function independently. Previous solid testing experience and understanding of Best Practices and principles of testing are required for this position.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Should be part of the project team as automation testing expert.
2. Responsible for setting up automation framework.
3. Responsible for automation testing plan.
4. Responsible for writing automation scripts.
5. Input to test lead for test strategy and test plan preparation - define automation test approach.
6. Estimate, plan, develop and execute tests at the system and functional test level.
7. Preparation of Automation test report.


Basic Qualification:
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics/Information Technology
Skill Requirements:

0. Experience in both manual and Automation testing.
1. Good object oriented programming concepts and practical knowledge. Strong programming skills in either Java/Python is required.
2. Hands on experience in unit test framework like JUnit/TestNG.
3. Working knowledge of Databases along with ability to write efficient queries.
4. Should have experience in using Version Control tool like GIT.
5. Experience in writing Functional, UI and End-to-End Business scenario test cases.
6. Proficient in using bug-tracking tool: JIRA.
7. Experience in preparing the automation flow scenario and test cases for the different modules using Selenium WebDriver.
8. Ability to debug and handle exceptions.
9. Expertise in implementing Test Automation Data / Hybrid Driven Frameworks.
10. Strong exposure in Script walk through and Peer reviews.
11. Good exposure in BUG reporting life cycle.
12. Experience in preparing Test Progress Report and Test Execution Report.
13. Hands-on experience on REST API service automation.


Additional Skills (nice to have):
0. Knowledge on ISO 26262 Functional Safety concept (Tool Qualification).
