Exp : 11+years
Knowledge/Experience:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the Cat Modelling /Global Insurance services industry, with at least 4 to 6 of these in a leadership role
- Proven track record of delivering excellent levels of client service through a large scale, multi-channel operating function, specifically in Reinsurance
- Complete understanding of Cat Modelling Softwares in the industry and Risk Management practices
- Experienced leader with proven ability in managing a function to deliver an agreed set of processes who can challenge the status quo.
- High levels of business acumen with an understanding of company strategy, operating environment and business objectives
- Understanding of Business Finance would be preferred
- Awareness of the latest technology to support the business
Responsibilities and Deliverables
This role is for the Manager for America Managed Services Projects reporting into the Sr. Manager America Projects. The role would primarily focus on Growth, Service Delivery Excellence, Technology and People Development with an alignment with AS strategic vision.
Strategy
- Drives the delivery of the change and growth agenda including cross-functional programmes and change initiatives, securing the resources required to manage and deliver client projects
- Leads the development of the client service propositions and service delivery strategy for all operational functions
- Actively contribute to shaping the future of America managed services client engagements. Work towards identifying new opportunities and delivering value to clients
- Work extensively with head Sr. Manager Projects for project scoping, resource planning and pricing.
Operations Management/Operational Effectiveness
- Deliver excellent service to clients making best use of teams risk analytics competences. Partner with Products and Service Enabling team to constantly improve and optimize processes.
- Ensures that the function has optimum number and quality of resources required to deliver the functional objectives and that they are effectively controlled and targeted
- Plans, supports and reviews the performance of the function, identifying development needs for both individuals and the team as a whole. Works with Process Excellency team to optimize training and development opportunities
- Develops, promotes and enhances a culture of client first service to ensure consistent delivery of excellent client service and client retention
- Works with the management and other teams to create and embed a culture of continuous improvement
Relationship Management
- Develop strong relationship with sales organization and in partnership with Sr. Manager America projects, develop go to market strategy and robust sales pipeline for growth. Deepen and expand on the current service offering through active mining of the prevailing relationship with.
- Lead the development of the client service propositions and service delivery strategy for any additional opportunities
- Build market, risk and model expertise in the team to be an equal partner for clients on risk analytics and risk model topics. Establish and nurture key relationships in the client organization.
- Maintains a good working relationship with Internal Audit and other functions, representing the needs of the business in negotiations
People Management/ Development
- Implements effective succession planning, people management, development, recruitment, and retention strategies for the portfolio in conjunction with HR
- Manages the performance of all direct reports within the portfolio through the formal performance management system
- Create a content focused organization. Hire, develop and lead employee base to support the current business and future ambition. Participate in onboarding client for any new model or process through knowledge driven approach.
- Develop people on technical knowhow of models in RMS, primarily new models.
