The Scrum Master is responsible for planning, facilitating, organizing, and motivating agile project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivery solutions that provide exceptional business value to users. The Scrum Master will manage high visibility solution delivery using agile methods in a fast-paced environment. As a Team Coordinator, this person is responsible for onboarding new team members and partnering with Team Leads and Manager to provide necessary Administrative support. The ideal candidate is first and foremost a servant leader, a facilitator who tirelessly works through impediments, ensures the integrity of Agile processes, and motivates the team to high levels of performance and achievement.

Requirements And Responsibilities

Servant Leadership
  • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments.
  • Act as Impediment Manager for the Team.
  • Leverage organizational resources to improve team efficiency.
  • Partner with Team Lead and Agile Lead to mentor team members.
  • Coach the team in Agile best practices, processes, and mindset; plan, lead and facilitate agile team ceremonies.
Product Owner / Solution Manager Support
  • Understand Project Milestones, goals and expectations through collaboration with Product Owner and Solution Manager.
  • Support the Product Owner / Solution Manager in managing customer expectations for project deliverables.
  • Confirm priorities for the team’s work and facilitates settlement of prioritization conflicts.
Process Management and Improvement
  • Align across the SLMS organization on the project management processes within an Agile framework.
  • Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile project management.
  • Coordinate with other teams who share dependencies to achieve solution delivery according to customer expectations; includes partnering with Ops, Security, Training and other COEs
Team Building
  • Promote empowerment of the team to build a cohesive, high performing team.
  • Ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution.
  • Encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team.
  • Use appropriate data and metrics to measure and promote team growth and maturity.
  • Facilitate resolution of conflict within the team.
  • Provide specific performance feedback to team members and their managers.
Team Coordination
  • Onboard New Team members.
  • Partner with Team Leads and Manager to provide administrative support as needed.
  • Ensure that each crew has the tools it needs to meet project milestones.
  • Undertake project tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ Years in a Servant Leader Role - Understanding Project Coordinator Responsibilities
  • 10+ Years in IT Industry
