The position

We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Executive for our AP Sales Team in Chennai, India.

Our new Internal Sales Executive will be responsible for Software maintenance and some new business.

You will join our dedicated Sales Team to sell software maintenance contracts for both nCode and ReliaSoft brands, achieving a sales targets.

You will report to Director of Sales – AP.

Primary responsibilities

You will be responsible for

  • To sell Software maintenance to existing clients and where possible bring clients back onto maintenance.
  • To develop existing customers where appropriate and create new sales opportunities.
  • Preparing and following up on quotation and opportunities
  • Managing opportunity funnel via close customer interaction and CRM
  • To promote and maintain the Spectris Ethics and Anti-Bribery and Corruption policies within the Team.
  • Professional qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience of selling engineering software solutions.
  • Experience working in a software sales environment.
  • A background of working in engineering or manufacturing markets.
  • A Degree in Engineering or HNC plus industry experience.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard data analysis systems, test environments and/or CAE software or Reliability tools.
  • Sound engineering understanding of a wide range of applications.
  • Inside sales experience
  • Good team working skills with colleagues and customers.
  • A Very high standard of professional integrity
  • Personal skills

    Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in English, Hindi would be an advantage.
