Key missions of the position:
  • Purchase Right Product/Service at Right Price and Quality and bring in Savings to the organisation
  • Bring in effective & efficient Procurement processes and systems to meet customer requirement
  • Establish strategic thinking in all procurement efforts resulting to be customer centric, streamlining business processes while maintaining compliance
  • Lead and drive Indirect sourcing activities for Faiveley Transport, India – Cross functional connect with HR/Finance/Operations/Engineering.
  • Strong negotiation skills/understanding of market cost/communication skills (written and oral)
  • Understanding of Vendor base across all regions of India for HR activities/Facilities Management/Supply of consumables and MRO/Professional services/Logistics/Warehousing/Real estate/Civil Construction/Capex equipment
  • Should have good knowledge in handling Capex procurement, logistics and warehousing.
  • Strong understanding of Sourcing Human resources for Engineering, good working experience with Professional services, Temporary labor companies.
  • Understanding of ERP systems-preferably SAP/Oracle/M3/other. Should have sound knowledge on interpreting/conversion of PR to PO process.
  • Sound understanding of Contracts management. Understanding of Terms & Conditions, commercial clauses, legal clauses.
  • Should have worked in similar organizations managing Indirect Sourcing activities. Understanding of Supplier Ethical code of conduct/integrity/compliance is paramount.
