Job Overview

Working in multiple disciplines of data management and reporting ranging from data aggregation and structuring to data modelling and visualization to generate relevant insights.

Job Description

Main purpose of the job and key background information

Activities to be performed :

  • Responsible for design, development, and implementation of data quality solutions

  • Implementation methodologies and best practices and work on project teams to analyse, design, develop and deploy data quality solutions to support a variety of customer needs.

  • Assist design, develop, test, and deploy data quality processes using Informatica IDQ

  • Collaborate with business users to identify attributes that require data quality and corresponding business rules. Profile data, analyse user requirements, and translate & apply business rules to data quality rules.

  • Create functional & technical documents - e.g. data quality architecture flows, data profiling results, data quality specifications, test plans

  • Contributes to corporate data management best practices and implementation methodologies

  • Other duties as requested or assigned

  • Can effectively utilize SQL and/or available BI tool to validate/define business rules.

  • Demonstrates understanding and competency with approaches/methodologies for at least one EDM area and applies this knowledge in collaborating with the team to design effective solutions to solve business problems/issues.

  • Produces high-quality results and deliverables that meet client needs.

  • Independently drafts complete detail documentation templates (i.e., Design Specs, Test Plans, etc.) that have a professional appearance for review by managers.

  • Deals effectively with all team members and builds strong working relationships/rapport with them.

  • Demonstrates ability to organize tasks and time necessary to complete assigned tasks/deliverables.

  • Demonstrates ability to motivate team members and assist them in meeting their goals and commitments

  • Effective verbal and written communications skills

  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and in a team

  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task and constantly reprioritize

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Leadership skills


  • B Tech/M Tech/ M Sc (Maths/ Stats) or equivalent from a premier institute

  • Must have on the job experience of working in Informatica IDQ / BDQ.

  • Exposure in Informatica Power Center and MDM
