Data Engineer

Experience:Around 4 – 15 years of software development experience in Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Big Data, Data Modelling & ETL. Relevant experience of Min. 5 years

Mandatory skills

• Design, Develop, Operate big data solutions

• Creating custom solutions or implementing package solutions.

• Building data solutions using best practices and architecture recommendations

• Design and implement ETL Solutions, frameworks and reusable components

• Strong working knowledge in Microsoft SQLServer or other RDBMS databases, with experience in developing data workloads using SQL/Procedures to build data layer for BI/analytics is mandatory

• Hands-on working experience in one of the Data Integration tools like Databricks/Azure Data Factory/SSIS/Informatica/similar tool is mandatory

• Experience/working knowledge in Azure ecosystem (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Synapse Analytics) or Snowflake Datawarehouse is preferred.

• Data Sets Preparation – Extraction, Transformation, Cleansing etc …

• Python based ingestion and creating data pipelines

• Unix / Linux working experience and SQL and advanced SQL capabilities

• Exposure to multiple heterogeneous sources in batch & real-time mode

• Platform: Cloudera, GCP, AWS, Azure cloud

• Ability to communicate with stakeholders across different geographies and collaborate with analytics & data science teams to match technical solutions with customer business requirements.
