Position title –
Azure Cloud Migration Engineer – Staff (44/4)

Location: Bangalore – Global Delivery Services

Job purpose:

• Associate Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer in the IT Advisory Services team to be part of the delivery of migration projects on Azure cloud platform for our customers across the globe.

Your Technical responsibilities: (part of description)

• Participate in Azure cloud migration engagements where workloads from On-premise is migrated to Azure


• Participate in different phases of cloud migration


• Participate in the development and implement Cloud solutions, functions, and applications in Azure Cloud Platform (AZURE) encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies


• Participate in delivery of new service offerings, working closely with the Infrastructure team to deliver low latency, high-performance applications


• Participate in the development of applications, functions, and processes that integrate future Cloud topologies that minimize costs while maximizing performance, reliability, and manageability


• As part of a team, research, analyze, recommend and implement new technologies, standard processes, tools and techniques to further Cloud offerings in support of our business


• As part of a team, recommend tools/approaches for manageability, zero downtime, scalability, repeatability, automation


• Contributor on team to develop tools to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities


• Participate on team to create automated approaches and scripts for system administration tasks where possible and appropriate


• Participate on team to develop automation and orchestration capabilities which allow us to operate at scale


• Help develop clear, concise installation, configuration procedures, runbooks and contributing to the maintenance of operational standards


• Contributor on team to define and document standard operating procedures and protocols from a security perspective


• Participate on team to develop, support, and document automated build and configuration management processes

Requirements (Qualifications)

We are looking for the candidates with the following:

• BE/BTech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 5 to 7 years

• Mandatory skills:

• Preferred skills:
  • Working experience, Kubernetes
