A Cloud connectivity engineer (CCE) designs, builds and/or manages (Ericsson adapted) public cloud environments and solutions. A CE also drives the development of shared (Ericsson) public cloud platforms and supports engineering teams in cloud adoption and cloud transformation. The CE is expected to work with Agile methodology and practices.

What you will do

• Design, Build and manage the cloud network connectivity solutions and its components according to Ericsson’s cloud strategy, customer needs and target architecture
• Develop/follow design guidelines, standards, and best practices
• Participate in planning (e.g. sprint) and estimate functional requirements (e.g. user story point) as per the Ericsson solution process
• Document implementation of solutions by developing relevant flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code
• Support in cloud adoption and transformation
• Advise and develop cloud and hybrid service requirement and configurations
• Share knowledge about cloud network options and key public cloud offerings
• Actively participate in public cloud Communities of Practice/Interest
• Strong intrapersonal skills and ability to motivate and coach team members

You will bring

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with very good experience in the domain of Cloud networking and IT infrastructure
• Infrastructure built as code
• Experience in AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• Knowledge in Cloud Network Technologies, infrastructure, and hybrid setups
• Experience in large scale cloud environments and knowledge in Landing Zones
• Have designed, Built /or managed network solutions for cloud environments and solutions in the past
• Have Leadership skills and Mentoring Experience
• A certification such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer would be a plus and should be demonstrable
