Job Description

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be working as part of our expanding Microsoft Cloud solution team. You will be working with our clients to architect, plan and manage innovative solutions based on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform. The right candidate must be able to clearly explain the benefits of underlying concepts of cloud computing. They must also be able to articulate how we can help clients realise these benefits. They will also possess the ability to implement the proposed solutions.

You will also maintain and provide support for all IT infrastructure and provide support and troubleshooting customers systems via both ticket and phone system within our SLA commitments. The support hours would cover from 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM GMT Monday to Friday and all day/night on Saturday and Sunday.

Job Requirements

• Experience working in client facing role.
• Work in shift rotation to troubleshot and support Azure infrastructure issue. Escalate issues with Microsoft support as needed.
• Good understanding of core computer networking concepts.
• Good understanding with Microsoft Azure cloud and commonly used IaaS and PaaS services.
• Good understanding with DevOps in Azure, utilizing CI/CD pipelines, Azure PowerShell/CLI, ARM template.
• Familiar with Azure AD, including user and application management, security controls, OAuth2 and OIDC.
• Familiar with the key Windows server features/roles including: AD DS, DNS, IIS.
• Good understanding with scripting language, such as PowerShell and Bash.

Advantageous:

In addition to the core requirements listed above the following additional knowledge and experience will be beneficial for this role:

• Familiar with cloud security and governance strategy.
• Experienced with Office 365 and other Microsoft cloud platform management.
• Familiar with Microsoft server products, such as Microsoft SQL Server HA and DR configuration.
• Familiar with container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Microsoft related certifications.
