About the Global Business Development team – Account Management Team:

Our Account Management team focusses on building long-term strong partnerships with customers. They data mine customer information and identify new opportunities and scale-up the average revenue per customer. Our customers are global enterprises, mid-sized companies, small businesses, professionals, and individuals. Core services offered include: Business Research, Business Support, Design and Creatives, Digital Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Investment Research, Programming and Development & Translation and Transcription.
Position Purpose
Responsible to build long-term strong partnerships with customers. Data mine and identify new business opportunities to scale-up revenues. Should have experience in global sales and with proven track record in sales and marketing in the IT/ ITES industry. A hands-on person with the ability to lead and train team members. Need to “walk the talk” and demonstrate by doing where necessary. To excel in this role you should be dynamic, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business with innovative solutions.
Primary Responsibility

Develop a trusted advisor relationship with all customers

Ensure all new customer enquiries and opportunities are analysed, scoped and timely communicated

Drive the conversion of new customer enquiries and opportunities

Generate higher revenues by proactively scaling-up on-going projects and by identifying new cross selling opportunities

Conduct email and telephone campaigns to educate customers on company services

Formulate sales strategies and implement them effectively to achieve targeted results

Prepare proposals, business case and negotiate contracts

Conduct best practices and training sessions to improve team competencies

Provide insightful analysis and reports to optimise revenues and drive efficiency

Work closely with senior management, peers, solution providers, delivery supervisors and provide best solution to prospective customers

Competency / Skills

Experience working virtually and with offshore or captive teams and projects

Excellent verbal and written communication

Strong proposal writing skills and ability to make simple, crisp and insightful presentations

Proven experience in budget and forecast management

Strong analytical and negotiation skills

Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a consultative approach and the ability to present solutions as per client needs

Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint

Experience using Salesforce, and knowledge of ISO 27001:1013 and GDPR clauses would be an added advantage
