Exp: 15-18 years; Role Purpose To support business growth through identification and development of new mining opportunities To build, nurture and maintain customer relations and relations with government authorities To develop and maintain robust market intelligence database Key Responsibilities Business Development Strategy & Stakeholder Management 40 PERCENT Ensure execution of bid strategy to prioritize and respond to potential bids and tenders Build, manage and nurture business relationships with customers and external stakeholders Build and develop business intelligence framework based on competitor / market analysis Drive smooth flow of information to and from other business functions for adequate appraisal of potential mining opportunities Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for identification of potential mining opportunities for coal and other mineral blocks Drive and review proposals at each stage of bidding to facilitate go / no-go decision making by the CEO Ensure creation and review of pre-feasibility reports, feasibility reports and final techno-commercial proposals Bid Management and Business Development 50 PERCENT Build market intelligence and understand macro economical and sectoral trends to infuse outside-in perspective in the organization Ensure smooth flow of business intelligence across functions as may be necessary from time to time Lead and manage the bid management process Develop and deploy adequate bid process management frameworks Prepare and evaluate comprehensive market intelligence on the new MDO/mining opportunities Conduct comprehensive site visits for the identified potential mining projects Review and lead preparation of risk mitigation plan and quantify the residual risk, based on the tender document Review and ensure submission of techno-commercial proposal to bid for potential mining projects Represent company during pre-bid meetings and customer contract negotiations People Management 10 PERCENT Ensure capability development of the team through performance management, training, and mentoring to drive high performance, engagement and enable achievement of current and future business needs Success Measures Domain Key Result Area Success Measure Business Development Revenue from new bids Profitability PERCENT increase in revenue Revenue mix Revenue per customer (planned vs actual) PERCENT increase in profit People Management Implementation of talent initiatives (timely) Team training Maintaining team engagement No. of talent initiatives implemented No. of training hours for team (planned vs actual) PERCENT Increase in engagement scoreLoading ...
