Role Of An Assistant Finance Manager

We are looking for a results-driven and confident Assistant Finance Manager to manage and improve our organization’s financial performance and accounting operations. Duties for the controller will include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.

Key Responsibilities

 Managing accounting operations (Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, vendor Payments, General Ledger and Counsel, Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition)

 Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period  Perform analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances such as accounting issues and economic events

 Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported  Ensuring all reporting is compliant with statutory law and financial regulations  Managing the audit process and liaising with external personnel as required  Managing tax compliance and coordinating with external tax consultants  Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial reports.

 Cash flow management

 Define standards and procedures for all the accounting process in the company/region  Development, implementation and monitoring of internal controls.  Developing plans for financial growth.

 Evaluating and managing risk.

 Coordination of the Group or organization’s transversal projects, which may relate to strategy, IT, finance or accounting.

 Handle reporting requirements to Senior Management

Qualification And Skill Requirements

 CA

 Understanding of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) preferred  Advanced MS Excel knowledge

 Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail

 Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
